Are you seeking Swatch Charts for download and printing. These can be colored in. Prismacolor pencils are super soft, making them perfect for easy light applications, while the Faber-Castell PolyChromes pencils are harder with vivid colors, ideal for coloring smaller areas.

These Fabre-Castel PolyChromos are a beautiful set of pencils. They are harder and keep a nice sharp tip. But they do take a bit more pressure than some other pencils. The colors are vivid and you can really get into those smaller areas. These are lovely to work with.

Thankyou very much Tammie for your free charts. I just got my prismas a couple of months back but could never find the right color chart for them. And the fact that you have them in color family order as well. I could never understand the whole color family thing so this helps me out tremendously ty ty ty.
So happy to hear the chart is helping you with color families. A good coloring color combination is if you use 3 to 5 color families that are right next to each other.

Happy coloring Ariane. Quick tip: Be gentile with your hands. When I first got into colored pencils I worked my hands to the bone. I ended up having them cramp up from all the layering and blending.

My most “professional” pencils are the 60 polychromos, do you intent to make a swatch chart for them, or shall I use the 72 blank chart (which is not a problem at all) ?

Hi Ariana, So good to hear that you are able to use the colored pencil charts. I’m not planning on making any new charts at this time.
A good idea is to use the full 120 Polychromos chart and add to it if you happen to get more. I’ve found some colored pencil manufactures sell singles at art stores and many of us end up filling up the chart as time passes. I really enjoy the Polychromos for how you can get a good solid tip when sharpening and how brilliant the colors are. The 72 chart is a good idea if you don’t want to end up feeling like you have to complete the bigger set :). I have a hard time not wanting to get all the colors.
